I help people with hard things.
About Me
I was born in County Cork, Ireland and have called Canada my home since the age of 18.
I have a Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of British Columbia and I am registered with the B.C. College of Social Workers (RSW).
Prior to entering private practice, I worked as a social worker for a wide range of human-service organizations across Vancouver, B.C. I have been an educator, counsellor, advocate and community organizer. I have extensive post-graduate training and interest in a broad variety of therapeutic modalities.
I have had the privilege of supporting individuals, couples and families to grow and change for over 25 years.
When I am not working with clients, you will most likely find me hiking up the B.C. mountains, creating sculptures from clay, making biscotti or enjoying a strong cup of Irish breakfast tea.
